Email: Template Redesign

Task:  Create an email template system to align design being used by various Office partners and take advantage of updated brand styling. Provide a more streamlined content experience for customers. Decrease the amount of dev time needed by creating a system of pre-coded modules based on the redesign email templates.

Challenges: Applying design styles to a variety of marketing communications.  Coordinating updated system with email dev team to assure new elements were approved for coding.

Project Partner: Office RM product team, Email Dev vendor, Third party agency

​

Role: Lead Producer, managing design process, review and approval cycles and briefing dev and third party agencies on usage of new system. This project lasted for 8 months with multiple rounds of review and feedback from executive level creative and marketing stakeholders.

​

Results: Use of the redesigned email template system allowed my team to take a more streamlined approach to creating content. By using new modules to create a more focused email my team decreased the SLA by 2 business days for our standard project of 4 emails with copy and design.

​

The revised SLA allowed my dev team to decrease timing by 5 business days not including any localization time.

​

From a customer perspective the new templates allowed my team to use non-standard hero images, as well as more icons to streamline content delivery. All of the image and icon sizes were pre coded with the dev team so no additional time was needed.
